4. Release the locking mechanism so that it will automatically rotate back clockwise
and close the saw blade holder.
Check whether the saw blade is secure and that the locking mechanism can no
longer be turned clockwise.
If you change the saw blade after use, remove saw dust from the saw
blade holder before doing so.
Setting the stroke rate
You can set the stroke rate between 500–2800 min
-1
corresponding to the material
with the stroke rate control

(see fig. C).
1. Make sure that the mains plug

2. To increase the stroke rate, turn the stroke rate control towards the “+”.
To reduce the stroke rate, turn the stroke rate control towards the “-”.
Adjusting the saw shoe

3. Pull the saw shoe

lengthwise to the desired position.
4. Flip the locking lever back up.
The saw shoe has now been fixed in the selected position.
− To improve its position on the workpiece and guiding, also adjust the angle of the
saw shoe.
Adjusting the sawing position
The handle

can be turned to three positions: 0°, +90°, -90°.
1. Make sure that the mains plug

has been pulled.
2. Pull the locking button

towards the handle.
3. Turn the handle in the desired direction until it locks into place and the locking
button snaps back to the original position.
The handle is now fixed in the selected position.
