WARNING!

Improper handling may result in severe injury.
− Read and observe the safety instructions at the beginning of the user
manual before you start working.
− Make sure that the On/Off switch is not locked in place before you insert
the mains plug in the socket.
CAUTION!

The LED work light is very bright and could result in eye injury.
− During operation, do not look directly into the light beam for prolonged
periods.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Work pieces, which are not properly secured, could slip during work and be
irrevocably damaged.
− Secure your work pieces with a clamping device before you start sawing.
Switching the saw on
1. Insert the mains plug

in a properly installed socket.
As soon as the saw is connected to the power supply, it is operational and the
LED work light

lights up.
2. Push the On/Off switch

to switch the saw on.
The saw will start at a low stroke rate. Pushing the On/Off switch harder will in-
crease the stroke rate to the preset value (see chapter “Setting the stroke rate”).
