6. Use an AF 10spanner

loosen the clamp bolt

turning it a few revolutions
counterclockwise.
7. Insert the splitting wedge behind
the clamping plate and

it all the way down.
8. Tighten the clamp bolt by
turning it a few revolutions
clockwise.
9. Align the splitting wedge so that
there is 3–5mm of space to the
saw blade on all sides.
10. Fix the splitting wedge in place
by tightening the clamp bolt by
turning it clockwise again.
11. Turn the saw blade all the way
into the saw table by turning the
crank counterclockwise up to the
stop point.

12. Pull the table insert slightly apart and guide it over the laser and splitting wedge
again. Run the tab on the back of the table insert into the corresponding groove
on the saw table and then lower the front side.
13. Check to make sure that the table insert is properly seated: The table insert must
be flush with the saw table.
14. Use the two fixing screws to fix the table insert in place.
15. Mount the saw blade guard as described in the chapter “Mounting the saw blade
guard”.
