Alencon Communication Environment
A full communication system (including hardware and firmware)
designed by Alencon to control power conversion equipment.
Configurations:
Single PODD: One PODD, directly connected to a network
of wired Alencon hardware, running the user interface
Multi PODD: A centralized PODD running the user
interface which aggregates data from multiple distributed
PODDs
NOTE: Wireless packages are available for both the Single and
Multi PODD configurations
PODD Site/HUB The terms PODD Site and HUB (stands for Harvesting Utility
Block) are used interchangeably throughout
A software application used to monitor, control, and maintain
Alencon hardware, available as a webpage.
