Multi-pass
Multi-pass sections can be created by using turning
plates, with 1, 2 or 3 unholed ports. The main pur-
pose is to change the flow direction of one or both flu-
ids.
For some units partition plate is required to support
the unholed ports in the turning plates. Also transition
plate need to be added in the package to prevent me-
dia to get in contact with the partition or pressure
plate.
Example of use for Multi-pass can be in processes
that requires longer heating periods if the media re-
quires a slower heating.

Identification of plate side
The plates are marked with plate name follow by -1
and -2. They are position with every second plate of
each type.
