Pressuretestaftermaintenance
Beforestart-upofproduction,wheneverplatesorgasketshavebeenremoved,insertedor
exchanged,itisstronglyrecommendedtoperformapressuretesttoconrmtheinternaland
externalsealingfunctionofthePHE.Atthistest,onemediasideatatimemustbetestedwith
theothersideopentotheambientpressure.
Caution!
Thepressuretestingshallbeperformedatapressureequaltotheoperatingpressureof
theactualunitbutneverabovethedesignpressureasstatedonthenameplate.
Therecommendedtesttimeis10minutesforeachmedia.
PleaseconsultthelocalAlfaLavalrepresentativeofthesupplierforadviceonthepressure
testingprocedure.
