There is no cold
water.
Is the water
supply faucet
closed?
Open faucet.
Yes
Is the cold
water fill hose
kinked?
Straighten or
replace hose.
Yes
Is the mixing valve
screen or screen in
outer end of fill hose
nearest water supply
faucet clogged?
No
Disconnect
cold fill hose
and clean or
replace screen.
Yes
Is cold water
mixing valve
solenoid
inoperative?
No
Test solenoid
and replace if
necessary.
Yes
Is
timer/control
inoperative?
Test
timer/control
and replace if
inoperative.
Yes
Is temperature
switch (if
present)
inoperative?
Test switch (if
present) and
replace if
inoperative.

Is pressure
switch
inoperative?
Test switch
and replace if
