Testing Machine and Electronic Control Functions
This feature allows the owner to run diagnostic tests
on various washer operations without servicing the
washer. The following tests are available:
• Diagnostic Test
• Pressure Switch (PSW) Opening Test
• Coin Vault Opening Test
• Service Door Opening Test
• Coin Drop Input Test
• Lid Opening Test
• Show Fill Test
How to Enter Testing Feature
1. Control must be in “Special Mode”. Refer to
Section VII.
2. While pressing and holding the PERM PRESS
keypad with one hand, press the NORMAL keypad
with the other hand.
3. The VFD will change from “SPC” to “S:XX”
where XX indicates the software revision number.
How to Start Tests
IMPORTANT: To start a diagnostic test, the
control MUST BE in the test feature mode (refer to
steps 1-3), and the VFD must display “S:XX” where
XX indicates the software revision number.
To start a diagnostic test, refer to the quick reference
chart below (Chart 8). For detailed information on
each test, read the appropriate description.
How to Exit Testing Feature
IMPORTANT: Use the following steps to exit when
the control displays “S:XX”, where XX indicates the
software revision number. DO NOT use these steps
to exit from each individual test.
1. While pressing and holding the PERM PRESS
keypad with one hand, press the NORMAL keypad
with the other hand. The display will return to the
“Ready” mode. See Figure 2.
If no keys are pressed within 4.25 minutes when in the
testing mode, the display will return to the “Ready”
mode. See Figure 2.
