uidanalysisastheprimarymethodfordetermininguidchange
intervals.Intheabsenceofauidanalysisprogramtheuidchange
intervalslistedinthechartsshouldbeused.
TherearethreemethodsrecommendedbyAllisonTransmissiontohelpyou
determinewhentochangetheuidandltersinyourAllisonTransmission.
Themethodsareasfollows:
•WhenaPrognosticsindicatorbecomesactive(shownbyilluminating
theTRANSSERVICEindicatorintheselectorVFdisplay).
NOTE:Thestrippushbuttonselectorhasnodisplayandisnot
prognosticscapable.
•WhenrecommendationslistedintheFluidandFilterChangeInterval
Tablesaremet.RefertoTable5–6.
•Whenauidanalysisprogramindicatesauidchangeisnecessary.

NOTE:Calendar-basedchangeintervalsmuststillbeadheredtofor

used.Ifmaintenanceisdonebecausetheuidorltersreachedthe
calendar-basedchangeinterval,theOMandFMshouldbemanually
