TECV
IEW SOFTWARE
The Series 800/850 TEC Controller can optionally be operated via the digital output
option (Output 4) by means of special software. This software is called TECView
and can be very helpful in setting up the controller and logging data using a personal
computer.
The following is a list of some of the features of the TECView software:
1. Easily configure the controller for standard sensors. No front panel programming
required. Simply choose the desired sensor and press “Update” and “Save”.
2. Easily scale the temperature ranges.
3. Use of the Steinhart Hart equation to give °C or °F readings using a thermistor input.
4. Easily set the power (current) limits and the PID parameters right on the Main Screen.
5. Easily view and adjust the temperature and time ranges by use of the controls on the
graph of Actual Temperature and Set Point Temperature versus Time.
6. Easily log data to a file and load it into a spreadsheet program for viewing and/or
graphing at a later date.
+ Note: TECView is not compatible with Ramp and Soak firmware!
