What to do if [Err1], [Err2], [Err3], or [Err4] shows on the Alpha Omega Instruments 800 Controller display?

      Monica BrownAug 4, 2025
If the Alpha Omega Instruments Controller displays [Err1], [Err2], [Err3], or [Err4], it indicates a problem with the temperature sensor input. To resolve this, check the sensor wiring for reversed wires, open circuits, or shorted circuits. Also, verify the sensor programming and configuration as detailed in Step 1 of the Manual for your specific temperature sensor. Ensure that the ambient temperature is within the acceptable range and that the calibration offset parameter is appropriately set.

Why is there no output from my Alpha Omega Instruments Controller?
    • D
      David RobinsonAug 20, 2025
The absence of output from the Alpha Omega Instruments Controller can stem from several parameter settings. Verify that [Il`A] and [IL`B] are not set to 0.0 and ensure that Alarm 3 is not disabled. Confirm that [a3lo] and [a3hi] are configured outside the normal operating range. Additionally, check if the % LED is illuminated, which signifies Manual mode operation.
