115 VAC TO 230 VAC OPERATION
The Series 800/850 TEC Controller is shipped for use with the AC voltage level
specified in the customer’s purchase order. The default configuration is 115 VAC.,
60 Hz. If it becomes necessary to change the AC input voltage in the field, the
following instructions should be followed:
1. Disconnect the modular AC input cable from the Series 800/850 temperature
controller.
2. Remove the top cover of the instrument by the screws that hold the cover.
3. Locate the 115/230 selector switch (see diagram below) located on the side of the
power supply

. Note: Some Series 800/850 temperature controllers have universal
inputs. If so, no switch will be available.
4. Slide the switch to the required AC voltage. Note the desired voltage is indicated in
the switch.
5. Replace the cover to the instrument in reverse manner as it was removed.
6. Replace the modular AC power input cord with an appropriate power cord.

If more than one power supply is mounted inside the Series 800/850 temperature controller, make sure that all power supplies
are switched to the same AC input voltage.
