DRAINING THE SPA POOL
Draining Water
Yourspapoolneedstobedrainedandrelledevery3-4monthsdependingon
usage.Thisisoutlinedinmoredetailinthe‘SpaPoolWaterCareHandbook’found
inyouriPack,alongwithaccessoriestohelpdrainthewater.
Operating the Drain Valve
Whenit'stimetodrainthespapoolyoucanusethesimple
externaldrainvalvemechanismlocatedonthebottomedge
ofyourspapool.Waterwillnotowoutofthedrainaslong
asthecapisontightandpressedinasperthe'owlocked
position'-seephoto.Tousethedrainvalve,followthesteps
below.
(Retracted Position with cap
screwed on tight)
Startwiththedraininthe‘Flow
locked’position(retracted).
Screwonamale-endhose
attachment.
Extendtheinnerdrainvalveby
pullingonthedraincapalltheway
outasfarasshowninnextimage.
Attachyourhoseandruntheend
toadrainlocation.
Unthreadthedraincapand
remove it.
Pushthedrainvalveslowlyin
towardsthespatothe'halfway'
point.Checkthatwaterowsfrom
thehoseandadjust(pushinorpull
outslightly)ifnecessary.
