7.9.4 Installing the lens and the OPI
In order to fit it, proceed as follows:
1. Lay the Teflon ring (5) flat into
the OPI (6).
2. Then insert the lens (4) with the
flat surface into the OPI.
 The lens for the OPI (EOP
application) can be
distinguished by its straight
edge on one side.
3. Lay the second Teflon ring (3)
on top of it.
4. Screw the adjusting collar (2)
moderately tight, using the tool
(1).

5. Insert the OPI into the instrument following the reverse order used for the
disassembly procedure.
 There is an O-ring inside the OPI support flange. Make sure that the O-
ring is clean and sits inside the notch.
6. Install the plasma torch and adapter; see page 55.
 Installation and cleaning of the OPI is now complete.
