5.2 Storage
Storage conditions:
The instrument must be stored in a dry place
Room temperature -15°C – +45°C (5°F – 113°F)
Avoid storing the instrument at very low temperatures.
5.3 Gas supply
Notice! Measurement errors!
Impurities in the argon supply cause measuring errors.
Ensure oil and grease-free laying of the argon supply line.
The instrument requires a supply of argon.
A suitable pressure reducer is required for the argon supply (bottles or liquid gas
tank).
Adjustable output pressure 0 – 10 bar
A maximum argon inlet pressure of 7 bar (102 psi) must not be exceeded.
The tubing for the Argon supply is included in SPECTRO’s scope of supply (3 m
long, OD/ID = 6/4 mm). This hose is screwed to the connection to the rear panel of
the instrument. The connection to the instrument is included in the scope of
supply. The connector on-site is customer-specific and, therefore, not part of the
delivery.
