6. Cleaning and servicing
6.1 Safety instructions
Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply (remove the plug
from the socket) before cleaning the appliance or starting any servicing or repair
activities;
Do not use aggressive detergent products and make sure that water does not enter the control
panel or inside the appliance’s technician chamber;
To prevent electric shock, never clean the appliance with a jet of water, and never immerse the
appliance or its parts, the power supply cable or the plug in water or any other liquid.
WARNING! Risk of burns!
During normal use, the surface of the compressor can become very hot. Never touch
the compressor with your bare hands.
WARNING!
The appliance is not designed to be cleaned:
With a jet of water;
With a jet of high pressure water;
By immersing it or its parts in water or any other liquid.
6.2 Cleaning the appliance
The appliance must be cleaned regularly:
Clean the inside of the appliance at the end of use/day;
Remove all food products stored inside the appliance, and place them in the fridge or in an
equivalent refrigerated equipment to prevent them from deteriorating;
Clean all parts of the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a neutral and deli-
cate detergent. Carefully dry everything after cleaning;
Only use clean water to moisten the cloth or sponge for cleaning;
Do no use abrasive detergents, such as, for example, abrasive powders, agents containing al-
cohol, bleach, diluents, etc. which could damage plastic parts, painted parts or components
made of stainless steel;
A plastic spatula may be used if necessary or in the case of particularly stubborn dirt. The use
of metal tools is not recommended;
To make cleaning easier, the sliding door can be removed.
ATTENTION! The sliding door are glass made and can be very sharp if broken. It is
recommended to handle it with the necessary safety precautions and using the per-
sonal protective equipment required by current legislation in the country of use of
the appliance.
Make sure carefully cleaning the GN pans used inside the appliance;
If condensation has gathered on the support surface for GN pans, remove it carefully with a
soft cloth or sponge, or using the drain hose. To use the drain hose, remove the cap from the
hose having placed a container at the opening, then close the drain hose again with the cap;
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth for drying the surfaces. Check that all the parts are perfectly
dry before restarting the appliance;
