4.2.2 Manual mode
After starting the machine, it is normally in the manual mode.
This mode can be compared with the operation of a conventional
vibrating plate.
The degree of compaction is indicated in a diagram appearing in
the display.
The soil cannot be compacted further with:
Indication of the optimal degree of compaction.
Unchanged indication of a value, also with repeated compac
-
tion.
By means of this continuous relative indication, the mode of op
-
eration can be adapted to suit the changing soil conditions.
4.2.3 Automatic mode
When this button (1) is pressed, the hydraulics automatically re
-
duce the compaction power when the optimal degree of compac
-
tion is reached, so that surface loosing due to overcompaction is
prevented.
If the soil is already overcompacted, the hydraulics reduce the
compaction power to minimum.
Continuous information on the degree of compaction is also pro
-
vided via the relative indication.
The mode can be reset to the manual mode by pressing this but
-
ton (1).
