Installing the
CMX 240 Series Controller
Unpacking
Be careful when unpacking the unit to not damage the packaging
material—you must reuse it if you ship the product back for repair.
Parts Required
To install a single controller you start with the following parts:
• CMX 240 Series Controller
• Cabinet (provided or other enclosure)
• Modem (optional)
• AC Power Cable
• Infinet Cable
• TankNet Cable and Intrinsic Safety Barriers (optional, for
connecting TankNet)
• Probe Power Supply Cable and Intrinsic Safety Barriers (optional,
for use with TankNet)
• Telephone Cable (optional, for connecting to modem)
• RS-232 Cables for Terminal, Printer, or Modem (see the Appendix A
for specifications)
