TIMER MODE
• When the appliance is running the stop delay can be activated when the TIMER button is pressed. The
TIMER OFF status light goes on. Set the required stop delay with the + and - buttons. Press the TIMER
button once within 5 seconds to activate the start delay setting. The TIMER ON status light goes on.
Set the required start delay with the + and - buttons.
• When the appliance is switched o the start delay setting is activated when the TIMER button is
pressed. Press the TIMER button once within 5 seconds to activate the stop delay setting.
• Press in the + or - button to change the time, in steps of 0.5 hours up to 10 hours and steps of 1 hour
from 10 to 24 hours. The control system counts down the time to start/stop.
• If no buttons are pressed for 5 seconds the display automatically returns to show the current
temperature setting.
• You can stop the countdown at any time to start/stop by switching o or starting the appliance, or by
setting the time to 0.0.
• The timer function is also interrupted if there is an E1, E2, E3 or E4 error.

ECO MODE
Pressing this button increases (cooling) or reduces (heating) the set temperature by 1°C or 1°F after 30
minutes. After another 30 minutes the set temperature increases (cooling) or reduces (heating) by another
1°C or 1°F. The new temperature is maintained for 7 hours, after which the original set temperature is
restored. Sleep/Eco mode then nishes and the appliance runs with the original settings.
NOTE: This mode cannot be used in FAN or DRY mode.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
AUTOMATIC RESTART (SOME MODELS)
When the power supply is reset after a power failure the appliance restarts with the previously set function.
START DELAY 3 MINUTES
When the appliance has been stopped it will not start for 3 minutes. This is a safety function, and is
completely normal. The appliance starts automatically after 3 minutes.
SETTING THE AIR DIRECTION
Air deector automatically set for required air direction.
• The air deector opens fully when the appliance is started. Press the SWING button on the control
panel or remote control to activate automatic swing.
• The air deector swings automatically up or down.
• Do not attempt to move the air deector manually.
• Press the SWING button again to stop the swing to the required air
deection setting.
