Machine general checks
Components type of check frequency
The whole machine visual check; perform any possible movement to locate anomalies during use
Pins and bushings functional - manually put under stress all the articulations to check the joints wear monthly
visual – to check the presence and efficiency of the locking devices
Anchorage to the frame check of the fastening screw proper tightening (by an Anteo authorized service center) every three months
Chromium-plated parts visual – to detect any chromium-plating corrosion every three months
Hydraulic hoses visual – to detect any cracks, abrasions, oil leakages monthly
NOTE: hoses should be completely replaced each three years
Hydraulic pipes visual – to detect any abrasions, oil leakages monthly
Hydraulic cylinders visual – to detect any oil leakages monthly
Structural elements visual check to determine yieldings, strains or cracks, especially for weldings every three months
and platform
Controls functional check to locate jams, hardenings or dummy contacts during use
Electric motor visual – to check the state of wear and the motor brushes, then clean with compressed air every three months
NOTE: however, the brush thickness must not be less than 0,7 mm.
Parts not painted visual check to locate possible oxidation points every three months
NOTE: corrosion should NEVER exceed a depth of 0.5 mm.
If one of the above mentioned anomalies has arisen, IMMEDIATELY apply to an ANTEO Authorized Service Center, whose personnel shall restore the tail-lift operation. The Anteo Authorized
Service Center personnel shall also properly fill in the card enclosed to this manual.
