Appendix A.
Belt Tension Testing/Adjustment.
a) Remove the belt guard
b) Check belt(s) tension with belt tension tester
a. Belts should be tensioned to 10lbs

c) If the belt needs adjusted loosen the 4 retaining nuts on top of the motor mounting plate
d) Adjust the bottom nuts on the motor base up or down to tighten or loosen the belt as necessary
e) Be sure to check motor shaft alignment (note: can be up to 1/8” difference from side to side.)
f) Retighten the top nut.
g) Rotate the belt by hand around one turn (failure to do so could result in an incorrect reading.)
h) Check belt tension again and repeat as necessary.
