Check Valve Cleaning
a) Remove the inlet and outlet tubing from the head of the compressor
b) Remove the seven bolts on each check valve retainer
c) Remove retainer and checks
d) Dissemble check and clean thoroughly with alcohol or acetone. For heavily soiled valves us an
ultrasonic cleaner on metal pieces to help remove soil. Do not clean the poppet (brown donut) in the
ultrasonic cleaner. If poppet is beyond cleaning or damaged contact Apeks for a replacement.
