Routine Cleaning
Tools needed: APQS Parts:
Paper Towels Check Spring – 3067-01
Rubbing Alcohol or Lacquer Thinner Tension Control Complete – 2043-01
WD-40
Air Compressor or Canned Air
Time to complete:
Approximately 5 minutes
Remove lint between tension disks
During daily quilting, use compressed air to blow out any lint that has accumulated between the tension disks. With
your fingers, pull out on the outer-most tension disk, and blow the air between the two larger disks of the tension
control unit. This will help avoid any problems with lint build-up that can cause tension problems.
Pull on outer tension disk
and blow air between disks
