5. INSTALLATION
5.1 PRELIMINARY CONTROLS AND PRECAUTIONS
Before proceeding with the installation please check the following:
- The installation area must be large enough to fully accommodate the barrier in the open and closed positions (see Fig. 2).
- The installation area must be solid and fl at, particularly in the areas where the components are mounted on the
ground.
- Evaluate whether it is necessary to install an end support fork (optional) - advisable in the case of very long barriers.
WARNING: The barrier is supplied in
the right hand confi guration, i.e. when it
is viewed from the barrier side, it opens
clockwise (see fi g .3).
To change it to the left hand confi guration,
refer to para. “Changing the barrier
confi guration”.
