3.14) Using a 6.5mm drill fitted with a 12mm deep drill
stop to prevent drilling into the side of the sheet
metal skin, drill through the hole in the bracket and
the vehicle’s tub flange lip.
Apply rust inhibitor to the hole to prevent
corrosion inside after drilling.
Repeat all steps on the opposite RH side of the
tub using RH bracket (668AQ001R).
3.15) Insert into the hole an M6x20mm hex screw with
M6 x 25mm flat washer with M6 flange nut on the
back, inside the tub lip flange.
Do up to 9Nm.
Repeat on the opposite RH side of the tub.
For fitment of canopy mounting brackets with Sports Guard refer steps 3.16 to 3.49
3.16) Ensure all tie down brackets are removed and
only the floor (Not required if vehicle is to be fitted
with ARB Drawer systems) and tailgate panels of
the Sport Guard panels are fitted.
3.17) Place trimmed front panel into position on the front
of tub. Fit the front mount rail (668PD011) on top
of tub to hold panel in place.
