3.31) Put RH front bracket (668PD027R) into the front
corner of the tub and hold in place with M8 x 25
Torx head screw and a new M8 x 25.4mm flat
washers, form the canopy hardware kit in these 2
places.
3.32) Repeat for the other side using bracket
(668PD027L).
3.33) Position bracket 10mm above tub height. Use a
clamp to secure it in position.
3.34) Check the bracket sits horizontally and is flush with
both surfaces of tub. The top surface of the
bracket is to be a consistent 10mm height above
tub.
3.35) Repeat for the LH side.
3.36) Check the cut-out in Sport Guard allows clearance
so the bracket make contact with tub sheet metal
all the way around.
If plastic of Sport Guard is between bracket and
tub preventing full contact, further trimming of the
Sport Guard is required to ensure full metal to
metal contact.
3.37) When the Sport Guard cut-out is neat around
bracket and there is 10mm consistent height and
bracket is flush with both the front and side
surfaces of tub corner, secure the bracket position
with clamp and tighten Torx screws to 22Nm.
3.38) Drill a 6.5mm hole through bracket into tub side
wall.
3.39) Repeat the above steps on LH side.
Apply rust inhibitor to the hole to prevent
corrosion after drilling.
