SECTION 1A
1.1 REMOVING THE CENTRE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ON FROD
RANGER XL-XLS MODELS
1. Remove the CHMSL Cover by pulling the cover
towards the rear of the vehicle.
2. Using a T15 torx key, unscrew the two retaining
screws and remove the light housing (Retain the
two screws as they will be required later for
retaining the cover)
3. Unclip the light from the loom and remove, using
masking tape securely tape the remaining wiring
loom inside the cavity ensuring it cannot rattle
4. Ensure the foam tape seals are correctly fitted
around the edge perimeter of the covers inside
surface and the sealing disc pads are over the
screw holes on the inside. Carefully pierce the
foam sealing discs through the holes in the cover
with a sharp point such as a nail
