Check circuit-breaker for external
damage.
Make sure that there are no ex-
ternal parts in the circuit-breaker
compartment.
Check surface of insulating com-
ponents for impurities. If neces-
sary, clean (see Chapter 8).
Important:
Observe the operating and
locking conditions (Chap-
ter 7).
Important:
The energy storing device
of motorized circuit-brea-
kers is charged automati-
cally once the supply voltage is ap-
plied.
Important:
Undervoltage releases (op-
tional) enable switching
tests only to be performed
with the supply voltage applied.
6 Commissioning
Important:
Observe the warning and
notification plates on the
front cover and in the drive
(Fig. 6.1).
The circuit-breaker is equipped with
a transport securing device in the
drive (Fig. 6.1). Remove transport
securing device before commissio-
ning:
Remove transport protection
1. Remove front cover.
2. Remove transport securing devi-
ce (red) by releasing the thread-
cutting screw M5 using a wrench
of TORX-Nr. T25 (Fig. 5.2). Store
the device for maintenance work.
3. Secure front cover again using
the screws. Tightening torque:
4.7 Nm + 15 %.
