chinery Directive”
Flowserve Flow Control GmbH as manufacturer declares herewith on its sole responsibility that
the electric rotary actuators Type E25 MOD II, intended for automatic operation in conjunction
with control elements such as ball valves or ball-valve combinations, comply with the basic
requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC as “partly-completed machines”: Annex I, Items 1.1.2,
1.1.3, 1.1.5, 1.2.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, 1.3.4., 1.3.7, 1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.5.4, 1.5.6, 1.5.7, 1.5.13, 1.6.1, 1.6.3,
1.7.1, 1.7.2, 1.7.3 and 1.7.4.
The ev
aluation of conformity was carried out according to the harmonised standard EN ISO
12100:2010 (Safety of machinery. General principles for design. Risk assessment and risk re-
duction).
Commissioning is prohibited until it has been ascertained that the complete machine or plant, in
which the actuator is installed, meets the requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC.
The special technical documentation for the partly-completed machine to Annex VII Part B of the
Directive has been prepared and the manufacturer is obliged to transmit these documents elec-
tronically to the authorities of an individual state on submission of a reasonable request.

mospheres” – “ATEX Directive”
Further, the manufacturer Flowserve Flow Control GmbH declares on its sole responsibility that
the listed electric actuators, when used as intended, comply with the requirements of Equipment
Group II, Category 2 (Zone 1) to Directive 2014/34/EU.
