19. Tighten jam nuts on clutch cable adjustment barrel
against cable bracket. See Figure 32.
20. Return unit to operating position. Place a sturdy
support, such as a wood block, under rear mower
deck edge.

21. Reinstall one flat steel washer, one spacer and a
second flat steel washer onto each axle end.
22. Secure cutting height linkage to axle plate with one
shoulder bolt.
See Figure 34.
23. Secure each wheel cover to axle plates with one
tapping screw.
24. Reinstall pinion gear onto each axle end and secure
with E-ring.
See Figure 35.
25. Secure each wheel to axle plate with one shoulder
bolt.
26. Reinstall dust cover onto each wheel.
27. Reinstall drive cable spring onto belt guide. See
Figure 6.
28. Adjust wheel drive control lever. Refer to Operator’s
Manual for adjustment procedure.
29. Reconnect spark plug wire and fill fuel tank.
30. Models 911177, 911189: Adjust blade-brake clutch
lever. Refer to Operator’s Manual for adjustment
procedure.
NOTICE: Check all adjustments after first use.
