For continued compliance with the above laser safety standards, only approved Class 1 modules from our
approved vendors should be installed in the product.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the
interference at their own expense.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void
the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
This product complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference

and other relevant provisions of Directive (2004/108/EC). CE The Declaration of Conformity made under
Directive 1999/5/EC is available for viewing on www.arubanetworks.com.
Use of controls or adjustments of performance or procedures other than those specified in this manual may result in
hazardous radiation exposure.
Although this controller has been tested to up to 1kV per CE immunity requirements, this product requires surge
protection to be provided as part of the building installation to protect against unidirectional surges resulting from
electrical switching and lightning strikes.
For protection against these surges in an outdoor installation, any exposed wiring must be shielded, and the shield
for the wiring must be grounded at both ends.
