7.3.1 Set the threshold value on the 9dLD
The threshold value can also be set/adjusted on the 9dLD location device.

Press SW03 to increase and SW26 to decrease the RSSI Threshold value. One press
increases/decreases the value with 1 dBm. If SW03 or SW26 is pressed and held, the threshold
value will be set to maximum respectively minimum value.

7.4 Locator Monitoring
The monitor output is a galvanically isolated relay contact (< 15 ohm) used for supervision of the
9dLDs. The relay contact becomes open circuit (> 1 M ohm) if a fault is detected, for example
that the tamper protection of the lid/casing has been triggered, a monitored external antenna
has been disconnected or the supply voltage disconnected.
• Immediate alarm
transmission
When set to On and a handset with special location
enabled receives the location, an alarm will be sent
immediately. The type of the alarm will be “Special
Location”.
Included in the location transmission.
