Model W73, Wood Frame
A. Prepare frame and door.
1. Using supplied templates, prepare and
mortise door and head jamb for pivot set.
(Figure 1)
2. Conrm all cutout dimensions for closer.
Installation
B. Install wood mounting clips.
1. Drill pilot holes into frame.
2. Install clips with four (4) #14 x 1-1/2"
wood screws. (Figure 2)
C. Install top pivot set.
1. Install jamb portion in prepared frame with one
(1) #14 x 1-1/2" wood screw into frame and one
(1) 1/4-20 x 5/8" machine screw into mounting
clip. (Figure 3)
2. Install door portion in prepared door with
three (3) #14 x 1-1/2" wood screws or 1/4-20 x
5/8" machine screws. (Figure 3)
3. Attach nish plate to jamb portion with two (2)
8-32 x 1/4" machine screws. (Figure 3)
