4. Carefully disconnect the earth cable that links the strip frame to the cabinet at the bottom.
5. The receptor cable connects all the strips in the system to the Traka Touch PCB in the pod. There is a split in the
cable that is terminated at the top of the strip frame. Disconnect the receptor cable as shown below.
NOTE: If the cabinet is part of a system with extension cabinets, then the Receptor Cable will be connected
to the CAN Interface PCB located in the top of the cabinet. Disconnect the cable from the connector marked
‘RECEPTORS’ as shown in the image below.
6. The strip frame is held in the cabinet by two plungers, one at the top of the frame and the other at the bottom. To
remove the strip frame you must release both plungers and gently pull the strip frame forward. Please see the
section diagram below.
NOTE: The strip frame can be quite heavy, take care when removing it from the cabinet.
NOTE: Once you have removed the strip frame you will notice a washer placed over the bottom plunger.
Be sure not to lose or break the washer.
