10.4 REPLACING THE FUSE IN A SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE
NOTE: This section only applies to systems installed in the USA and Canada.
Each surge protection device is fitted with a ‘slow-blow’ 3A fuse. The fuse specification is:
• 3A 125V 6.3x32mm Slow Blow
If for any reason the fuse needs to be replaced, follow the process below.
1. Disconnect the surge protection device from the power outlet.
2. Press down and then pull out the fuse holder tray.
3. Replace the fuse with the type specified above and then clip the fuse holder back into place.
4. Reconnect the plug to the power outlet.
