The login is managed on a session-by-session basis. If this session expires, you will be
redirected back to the login menu, and you will have to log in again. A session expires
if left inactive for 15 minutes.
4.3 Notes on the touchscreen
The operation and user interface is identical for all VIA Freeze™ freezers. The only
difference is the capacity or number of samples of each freezer.
All freezer models have a 25.6cm (10.1”) touchscreen display mounted on the front of
the system. This allows the user to control all aspects of the freezer through a touch
based menu system.
If the user does not wish to use the touch interface, then a standard USB mouse and
keyboard (not supplied) can be used instead by plugging them into the USB sockets at
the back of the system. Contact Asymptote or your distributor if you have any problems
with this or other accessibility issues.
