In its factory default state, only one ‘Default protocol’ is available for selection on the
freezer.
When the required protocol is selected, its profile is displayed in the main window. The
left and right arrows at the bottom left of the screen now allow the parts of the protocol
to be inspected.
Protocols are the cooling temperature profiles that the freezer will follow. They are made
up of ‘ramps’ where cooling happens at a set rate, ‘holds’ where the temperature holds
until a command is pressed and ‘dwells’ where the temperature holds for a set amount
of time.
For advanced instructions about creating and editing protocols, see sections 9.3 and 9.4.
When the protocol has been inspected, press either the ‘Back’ button to select a different
protocol or the ‘Select protocol’ to confirm that this is the required protocol.
