0 Air suspension
• Air suspension: system fault. Can cont in-
ue slowly with max. 35 mph .
There is a malfunct ion that can result in re-
stricted dr iving stability.
Caref ully drive at a maxim um speed of 35
mph (60 km/h) to your author ized Audi dealer
or qualified wor kshop to have the malfunction
corrected.
• Air suspension: service mode. Vehicle
can only be moved with restrictions

or quali fied wor kshop immedi ate ly to have
the service mode deacti vat ed.
l!IJ Air suspension fault
There is a system malfunction that can result
in restr icted dr iving stability or red uced
ground cleara nce.
Drive to your authorized Audi dealer immedi-
ately to have t he malfunction corrected .
l!IJ Air suspension: vehicle too low. Ground
clearance reduced
The groun d clearance is very low due to a sys-
tem malfunction. Wait until the air suspen-
sion system has resto red norma l ground clear-
ance. Otherwise, condit ions such as an uneven
road surface can lead to vehicle damage.
tli1!.t Safety systems
The fl (USA models)/ El (Canada models) indi-
cator lig ht monitors the safety syst ems e.g.
airbags, pretens ioners and ill uminates fo r a
f ew seconds each time you swit ch t he igniti on
on.
If t he
I (USA models)/ EI (Canada models)
indicat or li ght does not go out , or if it illum i-
nat es while you are driving, or if it st art s to
blink, t hen t here is a malf unct ion somewhe re
in the syst em. If the ligh t does not ill umina t e
whe n you switch the ig nit ion on, t his also
means there is a malf unct ion .

If you have a malf unction in t he safety sys-
tems, contact you r aut horized Audi dealer
immedia tely. Othe rwise t he safety sys-
t ems may not work properly in an acci-
dent.

Central indicator light
If t he indicato r light . or D t urns on, check
th e message in th e inst rument clust er.
F!,J[}; Electronic Stabilization Control
(ESC)
If the bl indicator li ght blin ks w hile driving,
the ESC or ASR (Anti-Slip Regulation) is active-
ly regulating.
If the
bl indicator li ght turns on, t he system
has switc hed the ESC off . In t his case, you can
switch the ign ition off and then on to switch
the ESC on again. The indicator lig ht tu rns off
whe n the system is functioni ng fu lly.
If the
fl indicato r light turns on, ESC was re-
stricted using the
