_&. WARNING
- If th e t ire pressure indicator appears in
the instrument cluster display, one or
more of your tires is significantly under-
inflated. Reduce your speed immediately
and avoid any hard steering or bra king
maneuvers . Stop as soon as possible and
check the t ires and the ir pressures. In-
flate the tire pressure to the proper pres-
sure as indicated on the vehicle 's t ire
pressure label
q page 252. Driving on a
signif icant ly under-inflated tire causes
the tire to overheat and can lead to tire
failure. Under-inflation also is likely to
impair the vehicle's handling and stop-
ping ability .
- The driver is responsible for mainta ining
the correct tire pressures. You must
check the t ire pressures regula rly.
- Under certain cond itions (such as a spor-
ty driving style, winter condit ions or un-
paved roads), the pressure mon itor ind i-
cator may be delayed.
- Ask your author ized Audi dealer if run-
flat tires may be used on your vehicle.
Your vehicle regist rat ion becomes inval id
if you use these tires when not permit -
ted. Damage to your vehicle or accidents
could also result.
(D Tips
- The t ire pressure monitoring system
stops working when there is an ESC/ABS
malfunction.
- Using snow chains may result in a system
malfunction.
- The t ire pressure monitoring system on
you r Audi was developed using t ires with
the "AO" or "RO" identification on the
tire sidewall ~ page 259 . We recom-
mend using these t ires.
Reset tire pressure monitoring system
Applies to vehicles: with tire pressure monitoring system
If the tire pressure is adjusted, wheels are ro-
tated or changed, the TPMS must be reset via
MMI.

ICARI function button>
Car system s control button > Servicing &
checks > Tire pressure monitoring > Store
tire pressures > Yes, store now.
@ Tips
Do not sto re the tire pressure if there are
snow chains on t he tire.
