Switching on/off

Requirement: switch the ignition on and turn the
light switch to the
AUTO position .
• Press the ~ button

• Press the ~ button again to switch the night
vision assist off.
If condit ions are bright enough, night vision as-
sist can be switched on without moving the light
switch to the
AUTO posit ion. Pedestr ian and wild
animal highlig hting and warnings are only active
when it is dark out side and t he headlights are
switched on.
Adjusting the contrast
Applies to : vehicles with night vision assist
• Select: the I CAR I function button > Car systems
contro l button > Driver assistance > Night vi-
sion assist contrast .
W hen the night vision assist is switched on and
the image is visible in the instrument cluster dis-
play, you can adjust the contrast in the image
from Min to Max.

The system cannot guarantee correct funct ion

Night vision assist: Only available at night with
lights turned on
Night vision assist only works whe n it is dark out-
side and the headlights are on.
Night vision assist: Pedestrian marking current-

The pedestrian and wi ld animal marking was
swit ched off by the syst em .
Audi drive select (drive
settings)
Introduction
Drive select makes it possib le to exper ience dif -
ferent types of vehicle sett ings in one vehicle.
The driver can select
Comfort , Auto and Dynamic
modes in the I nfotainment system to switch be-
tween, for example, a sporty and a comfortab le
driv ing mode .
You can adjust the vehicle sett ings to your per-
sonal preferences in the
Individual mode. This
makes it possible to combine set t ings such as a
sporty engine sett ing with light st eering.
Description
The following systems, among other things, are
influenced by drive select:
Engine and transmission
Depending on the mode, the engine and trans-
mission respon d mo re qu ickly or in a more bal -
anced manner to accelerator pedal movements.
