Requirement: the re must be a call in progress .

- Making an additional call : se lect Additional
call > Directory
or a call list> an entry in the
list.
- Accepting an incoming call when there is an
active call and a call on hold :
select Accept.
The act ive call is replaced with th e incoming
call.
Additional functions include:
Mute : if you se lect and confirm this function, the
other person on the phone cannot hear you. You
can hear the other person .
Hold call / Resume on-hold call : you can put an
active phone call on hold and resume it.
On hold
and the durat ion of the phone call is shown in the
Infotainment disp lay.
Swap call : you can alte rnate betwee n two phone
calls at the same time . One of the calls will be on
hold.
End call ends the active phone call. A phone
call that is on hold stays on hold and can be re-
sumed using t he
Options control button and Re-
sume on-hold call .
Join conference :
a party on hold and up to five ac-
tive parties (depending on t he network) can be
added to a confe rence call. To make an add itiona l
call, put all part icipants in the curren t confe rence
call on hold using
Hold conference . Press the Op·
tions
contro l butt on . Select and confirm Addi·
tional call
and sele ct a phone numbe r from t he
Call list or the Directory, or se lect Enter number.
To add this party to the conference call, select
Join conference . With Resume , all participants
are ta ken off hold.
Show conference members
shows all participants .
(D Tips
- To be notified of an incoming call dur ing a
phone call, the Call waiting funct ion in your
cell phone must be switched on when using
the handsfree profile
(Handsfree ) .
- The display of an incoming phone call in the
Infotainment system disp lay may still be
visible for a few seconds depending on the
cell phone in use. If you use the
Replace or
Telephone
Decline functions in the MMI while the dis-
play is still visible, the active phone call may
end .
Emergency call functions
Applies to: vehicles with telephone
Requirement: a cell phone must be connected to
t he MMI ¢ page 147.

!TEL! button > Enter number > Ent er
emergency call number (for example, 911)

.,. Setting an automatic emergency call* : select
the
!TEL! button> Settings cont rol button >
Telephone settings > Automatic emergency
call .
A WARNING
-
- Because your phone works with radio sig-
nals, a connection cannot be gua ranteed un-
der all circumst ances. Do not rely on only
your phone when it comes to essential com-
municat ion (such as a medi cal emergen cy).
- Always follow t he instru ctions given by the
emergen cy personnel during an emergency
call and only end the call when they instruct
you to do so .

where . Find out which emer gency number is
used in your current location.
