Inflate the tire pressure to the proper
pressure as indicated on the vehicle's tire
pressure label ¢
page 191. Driving on a
significantly under-inflated tire causes
the tire to overheat and can lead t o tire
failure . Under-inflation also is likely to
impai r t he vehicle's handling and stop-
ping abili ty.
- The driver is responsible for mainta ining
the corre ct t ire pressures. You must
check the ti re pressures regularly.
- Under cert ain cond itions (such as a spor-
ty driving st yle, w inte r conditi ons or un-
paved roads), t he pressure mon itor ind i-
cator may be delayed.
- Ask your authori zed Audi dealer if ru n-
fla t tires may be used on your vehicle.
Your vehicle registration becomes invali d
if you use these tires when not permit -
ted. Damage t o your vehicle or accidents
could also result.
- If you switch between standard and run-
f lat tires, an authorized Audi dealer or
qualified workshop must reprogram the
cont rol module .
@ Tips
- The tire pressure monitori ng system
stops working when there is an ESC/ABS
malfunction.
- Using snow chains may result in a system
malfunction.
- The t ire pressure monitoring system on
your Audi was developed using t ires with
the "AO" or "RO" identification on the
tire sidewall ¢

If the tire pressure is adjusted, wheels ore ro-
tated or changed, the TPMS mus t be reset in
the menu display.
