OUTPUT CONNECTIONS – PRE OUT (stereo or multi-channel)
Never short-circuit the “out pre” output terminals.
Never connect the “out pre” terminals to each other.
STEREO MODE
In the case when the AUDIA Flight One amplifier is being used in a stereo (not multi-channel)
system, it is possible to use the pre-amplified outputs, named “Front L” e “Front R” (see also
part. 18, at page 47) to drive a second power amplifier. In this way you can bi-amplify your
loudspeakers, getting astonishing improvement in reproduction, possibly using two of the three
channels of the AUDIA Flight 3.100 amplifier, which exploits three power amplifiers exactly
equal to those of your AUDIA Flight One, as shown in the figure below.
MULTI-CHANNEL MODE
Selecting the “6” input, the pre-amplified signal of the A/V inputs will be present on the outputs
denoted as A/V (see part 18, page 47).
You can connect to the “Central”, “Rear L” and “Rear R” outputs the three channel amplifier
AUDIA Flight 3.100 (which exploits three power amplifiers exactly equal to those of your
AUDIA Flight One) to allow the driving of the two rear channel and of the central one.
Moreover, you can connect a powered sub-woofer to the “Sub” output.
The two internal power stages of the Flight One provide the driving of the two main front
channels, even if there are also the corresponding pre-amplified outputs, denoted as “Front L”
and “Front R”.
The use of signal interconnections of the highest quality is recommended.
