Monitor
When active, you can use this input to listen (“to monitor”), through the speakers, what
you are recording at the “rec out” output.
Pressing the “MONITOR” button, (part. 3, at page 47) the selected input will appear on
the left-hand side of the second line of the display, followed by the “monitor” label (fig. 4
at page 45).
You CANNOT use the remote control for this function.
You CANNOT use this function when the input “6” (multi-channel) is selected.
• Display brightness
To select the display brightness, press the “DIM” button. (part. 4 at page 47); the
“DIMMING” indication will appear on the left-hand side of the first row and, a number
comprised from “5” to “0” will appear on the right-hand side, to indicate the brightness
level (fig. 5 at page 45).
Turning the multi-functional knob to the left, the brightness will decrease, turning it to the
right it will increase.
If you set the brightness value at “0”, the display will grow bright each time a routine is
activated; when the routine is disabled the display will go off.
If the mute function has been selected, the display will turn on to indicate that the mute
routine is active.
You can use the remote control for this function.
• Balance control
To change the balance between the channels, press the “BAL” button (part. 5 at page 47).
In this condition, the “BALANCE” indicator will appear in the middle of the first row of
the display and the percentage balancing indicators will appear at the ends of the row
(fig. 6 at page 45).
In default conditions, you’ll have the indication “100%” both at the right-hand side and
the left-hand side, to indicate that the balance has been centered.
If you want to modify the balancing, you must use the multi-functional knob.
Turning the knob to the right the percentage of the left channel will decrease and vice-
versa.
The shift towards the right or the left is indicated on the display. Remember that the
system makes a real percentage computation of the volume value
You can use the remote control for this function.
•
Mute
The “MUTE” function can be switched on using the appropriate button (part. 7 at page
47). By activating this function you set the attenuation at –117.5 dB and the “MUTE”
indicator will appear on the first row of the display (fig. 7 at page 45).
The transfer to the “MUTE” mode does not occur abruptly but gradually.
To disable the “MUTE” function, just press the “MUTE” button again.
This change too, occurs gradually.
You can use the remote control for this function.
