PROTECTIONS
The AUDIA Flight One integrated amplifier is endowed with a sophisticated electronic
protection system to safeguard your loudspeakers and itself.
The operation of the protection system can be activated by the following reasons:
• High temperature of the output stages
In the case in which the temperature of internal heat sink should exceed the threshold of
75°C.
• Maximum output current
In the case in which they occur short-circuits between the output posts or in case in
which the output load becomes less than 2.5 ohm (at the maximum power).
• DC output current
In the case in which the DC component of the output current exceeds +/- 2.5V.
• Lack of one or more of power supplies
• Anomaly in the turning-on circuit
Activation of any of these protections will immediately turn off the amplifier and the display will
show the indication “ protection unit” (fig. 8 at page 45). In this occurrence, please wait some
minutes and after that completely turn off the unit, commuting the main switch on the rear
panel to the “0” position (part. 20 at page 47). Then, turn on again the amplifier.
If the problem should persist, turn on again the unit and contact your dealer.
