1 Introduction
This document provides a hardware description of the device and step-by-step procedures for
mounting and cabling the device.
The device provides the following interfaces:
◼ 2 x Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) copper WAN port interfaces (RJ-45)
◼ 1 x Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) LAN port interface (RJ-45)
◼ FXS telephony interfaces:
• MP-524 model: 1 x 50-pin D-Sub connector, providing 1-24 FXS port interfaces.
• MP-532 model: 2 x 50-pin D-Sub connectors, providing 1-24 and 25-32 FXS port
interfaces, respectively.
◼ 1 x Serial console port (RJ-45) for device management
◼ 1 x USB Type-A for storage
