OPERATION WITH ANTI-MICROBIAL LIFE FUEL ADDITIVES:
The applications of the following additives are allowed for an operated engine:
KATHON FP 1.5:
max. 100 ppm
BIOBOR JF:
max. 270 ppm
Any mixture of the different types of additives is not permitted.
Both specified brands of additive are qualified for the operation with the certified fuel
grades for the E4P engine.
To clean the fuel system of the aircraft a higher dosage of the specified additive is allowed
under consideration of the instructions of the additive manufacturer. During cleaning the
engine must not be operated.
In case of an unknown or an over dosage with the additives the fuel system have to be
purged until the dosage is within the allowed limits.
