3. Press the Exit context-sensitive soft key
to return to the idle screen.
To initiate a call to a friend on the Friends list:
1. Choose one of the following:
• Press the Directory fixed key.
• Press the Filter context-sensitive soft key,
and select Friends from the menu.
• Press the Select context-sensitive soft key
while viewing the Address Book.
2. Press the Status context-sensitive soft
key to view the information about the friend.
3. Press the Call context-sensitive soft key
to initiate a call to the friend.
The IP Deskphone uses the SIP address or
phone number from your personal Address
Book to make the call.
To send an IM to a friend on the Friends list:
1. Choose one of the following:
• Press the Directory fixed key.
• Press the Filter context-sensitive soft key,
and select Friends from the menu.
• Press the Select context-sensitive soft key
while viewing the Address Book.
