Item
Element
The Item element is
the most frequently
used element in an
IPTML document. It
can refer to an
application line, a
softkey, or a hard
button on the IP
phone.

List IDs Identify the list and
the values it contains.
The value can be
either appLines,
softkeys, or
hardButtons.
Normally, a Card
element
comprises of two
lists; one list
defines the
application lines,
and another list
defines the
softkeys.

Action
Elements
An IPTML Element
contains a sequence
of zero or more
Actions. The Action
element defines the
actions associated
with an Item. Each
action is triggered by
an Event and has an
attribute specifying
what initiates it. An
Action Element can
contain a sequence of
individual actions.
