8.2 Cleaning the Friction Roller
1. Soak a clean cloth with some isopropyl alcohol (95%). If
accidentally use too much alcohol, be sure to wring out the
damp cloth.
2. Open the front door slightly to the left.
3. Refer to the subsequent section 8.6 Replacing the ADF
Friction Roller on how to remove the Friction Roller.
4. Hold one end of the roller assembly and gently wipe the
surface of the rollers with the other hand to remove the dust
of stains. Be careful no to scratch the surface of the roller.
Rotate the rollers until they are completely cleaned.
5. Refer to the subsequent section 8.6 Replacing the ADF
Friction Roller on how to remove the Friction Roller.
